Meat from the butcher.<br \/>Potatoes from the farmer&#8217;s field.<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>The Farmer, the Butcher, and the Baker, turned a blind eye.<br \/><em>They knew.<\/em><br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>He Charmed them with his smile. Teased them with his twinkling eyes.<br \/>Entertained them with his clever stories.<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Pick a pocket here, pinch a purse there, disappear into the crowd.<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Men kept ready change in their pockets. Women carried an open purse.<br \/><em>They knew.<\/em><br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>After a day of thieving, lying, and cheating,<br \/>The hero returned to the smoldering village dump,<br \/>His home, where his frail mother and thin sisters waited.<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Ducking beneath the chicken wire and cardboard roof,<br \/>He placed his treasure on the dirt floor beside the fire<br \/>And strutted to tell the adventures of his successful \u201cbegging.\u201d<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>They listened while they ate, thanking and praising him all the while.<br \/><em>They knew<\/em>, and admired him even more.<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5>\u00a0<\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Now, I ask you, Baby Love, what kind of Karma<br \/>Is the ten-year-old boy earning?<br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0or The merchants?<br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 or The Villagers?<br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0or The starving family?<br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>What is right?
