{"id":1785,"date":"2021-02-06T16:24:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-06T16:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/?p=1785"},"modified":"2021-02-20T21:59:35","modified_gmt":"2021-02-20T21:59:35","slug":"one-morning-he-woke-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/index.php\/2021\/02\/06\/one-morning-he-woke-up\/","title":{"rendered":"ONE MORNING HE WOKE UP DEAD"},"content":{"rendered":"<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-1785-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/ONE-MORNING-HE-WOKE-UP.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/ONE-MORNING-HE-WOKE-UP.mp3\">http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/ONE-MORNING-HE-WOKE-UP.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>EXPERIENCING TRUTH<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<h5>One morning he woke up dead<br \/>\nAnd found his wife crying by the bed.<\/h5>\n<h5>He sat up out of his body and said,<br \/>\n\u201cMy darling, there&#8217;s nothing to dread.<br \/>\nLife without me will forge on ahead.\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>Her face popped out of her apron, and her tears stopped.<br \/>\nShe stared at her husband, both dead and sitting on the bed.<\/h5>\n<h5>\u201cLove of my life,\u201d she said, \u201cIt&#8217;s not for you I&#8217;m crying.<br \/>\nYou are un-crippled now and faring well I see.<br \/>\nYour leg is back, and so too your hand.<br \/>\nTis out of joy that I cry<br \/>\nTo see how well you are after you die.\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>He looked down at his body fair,<br \/>\nClenched his fist and wiggled the toes that were not there.<br \/>\n\u201cIndeed,\u201d he said. \u201cThat seems to be the case.\u201d<br \/>\nAnd he eased out of bed with the utmost grace.<\/h5>\n<h5>The music started, and he gave her his hand.<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s when their dance began.<br \/>\nTwirling and whirling around the bed<br \/>\nThey dipped and swayed as if he were not dead.<\/h5>\n<h5>Their daughter opened the door<br \/>\nAnd saw her mother dancing around the floor,<br \/>\nAlone, and to a silent score.<\/h5>\n<h5>\u201cMother! What are you doing?\u201d she said.<br \/>\n\u201cDancing with your father, as you can see.\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>The ensuing struggle for Reality,<br \/>\nEnded when Mom stopped dancing,<br \/>\nPlanted her fists on her hips<br \/>\nAnd took a strong stance.<\/h5>\n<h5>She said to her daughter, and pointed,<br \/>\n\u201cThere&#8217;s a three-days-dead body lying on that bed.<br \/>\nIt isn\u2019t your father anymore.<br \/>\nNever was, even before.<\/h5>\n<h5>So let him go, daughter mine.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s way past time.\u201d<\/h5>\n<p>The daughter turned pale and peeked at the corpse,<br \/>\nNo longer pink and starting to stink.<\/p>\n<h5><em>It&#8217;s really true! My dad is dead<\/em>, she thought,<br \/>\nAnd fainted, straight away.<\/h5>\n<h5>Seeing her laid out on the floor, her father said, \u201cPoor Dear.<br \/>\n\u201cOne day she&#8217;ll know there&#8217;s nothing to fear.\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>\u201cNaturally,&#8221; her mother said.<br \/>\n&#8220;A few more times around the wheel,<br \/>\nAnd she\u2019ll wake up to what\u2019s really Real.\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>The music faded from waltz to flat-line.<br \/>\nHe took his wife with arms she couldn\u2019t feel,<br \/>\nHeld her tight and thought into her mind,<br \/>\n\u201cSee you next time.\u201d<\/h5>\n<h5>Bracing herself for the usual misery of loss,<br \/>\nShe watched him rise into the Light,<br \/>\nAnd anticipated the pain.<br \/>\nAnd waited for the grief.<br \/>\nAnd waited for the agony of separation.<\/h5>\n<h5>Shock hit her bones as<br \/>\nShe finally integrated the illusion that is death.<\/h5>\n<h5>She fell against the bed and laughed out loud<br \/>\nAt the blessed recognition.<\/h5>\n<h5>She gasped with relief to actually<br \/>\nEXPERIENCE her belief,<br \/>\nTo have such wisdom awaken in her heart.<\/h5>\n<h5>Of course they could never be apart!<br \/>\nThere can never be a loss!<\/h5>\n<h5>Bodies come and bodies go,<br \/>\nBut <em>IF<\/em> the <em>ESSENCE<\/em> is what you know,<br \/>\nThen you just get on with the
