{"id":1961,"date":"2021-02-23T22:29:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-23T22:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/?p=1961"},"modified":"2022-05-26T21:48:24","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T21:48:24","slug":"hard-hearted-conpassion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/unseenreality.org\/index.php\/2021\/02\/23\/hard-hearted-conpassion\/","title":{"rendered":"HARD-HEARTED CONPASSION"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>THE WORLD IS NEVER &#8220;TOO MUCH WITH US&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<h5>Hard-hearted Compassion, teach me your ways.<br \/>Show me a love so sacred, so deep<br \/>It by-passes my vulnerable soul.<\/h5>\n<h5>Listen while I moan my sympathy to its death.<\/h5>\n<h5>Empty me of hidden guilt, the child of self-pity.<\/h5>\n<h5>Gift me with knowing when to turn my back and walk away.<\/h5>\n<h5>Tell me, again, the tale of eternal life.<\/h5>\n<h5>Open my flesh-blinded eyes that I might see:<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Beauty<\/em> in suffering . . . . . . . . . . . . . .\u00a0 \u00a0<em>Lessons<\/em> in errors&#8230;<br \/><em>Guidance<\/em> in mistakes . . . . . . . . . . . .\u00a0 <em>Teachers<\/em> in accidents&#8230;<br \/><em>Incarnation<\/em> as training . . . . . . . . . .\u00a0 <em>Death<\/em> as shifting dimensions&#8230;<br \/><em>Aging<\/em> as a blessing . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . <em>Poverty and wealth<\/em> as crucial&#8230;<br \/><em>Health and disease<\/em> as required . . . <em>Joy and sorrow<\/em> as complimentary&#8230;<\/h5>\n<h5>My mind knows that True Compassion is a blaze of Glory<br \/>Camouflaged as apparent neutrality and securely rooted<br \/>In the abyss of the human heart.<\/h5>\n<h5>I know it because, sometimes, a flash of that holy neutrality<br \/>Splits the soul and, serene, unattached, I quietly observe<br \/>The seeming tortures of Hell on Earth.<\/h5>\n<h5>Then, too soon, empathy, the shock-collar of Love, kicks me into high gear,<br \/>An electric motivation destroys observation, and I smile.<\/h5>\n<h5><em>Ah, Action! Participation!
