Our part in the vast ocean of the Cosmos Is important—just as a single cog on a single wheel Allows the vast machine to work.
We can’t see, for lack of eyes. We can’t understand for lack of mind. We can’t experience for lack of perception.
But we can know, by going deep Within and observing our intimate Cosmos.
We are tough critters, riddled with self-determination, Pride, and Independence—not to mention a broad streak of Over-confidence, so we can feel in control of our lives.
And indeed we are in control, at least until The precise point where our single cog stops The wheel from turning.
When our Awareness Transcends the conviction That we are just a little cog, We understand that we are The wheel, as well.
That’s what “Union” means: everything doing its part Within the Whole.
In the vast ocean of the Cosmos, our part Is no more important than all the other parts.
