Like the lens on a camera,
Our limited vision narrows down
The whole picture to focus on one external object.
Life is always more than we can take in.
We seldom ever say that,
Because we can’t see that,
And most don’t even suspect that.
The miracle of consciousness,
The magic of awareness,
And the gift of imagination
Create the world we live in.
So, nobody’s world is like anyone else’s,
And there’s the conflict.
It may be time to take the blinders off,
Remove the lens protector,
Throw away the camera,
And expand our view to include
The total, inner adventure
That is Eternal Life.
